Alexander met while working for an established music school in
Hollywood California where they served as department heads, instructors, career advisors, and developed cutting edge courses and curriculum. They balanced their educational pursuits with a good dose of real-world experiences, touring with major artists, scoring video games, movie trailers and producing dance records for world class DJ’s and more.
It was thru these experiences as educators, successful artists and producers that Wight and
Alexander realized the need for a place like Icon Collective, a place where aspiring artists and producers could truly embrace their creativity, a place where technology and creativity collided with a 21st century approach to living
successful artistic lifestyles within today’s brave new music
industry. A place that would serve to educate, inspire, and breed the next
Their latestendeavor, developing music production courses and seminars for the new Grammy Museum will allow IC’s philosophy and approach to resonate with some of the 50,000 youth expected to visit the Grammy Museum in 2009, helping to inspire the next generation of artists and producers.
