KEYBOARD 4 PRODUCERS
A new approach developed by Icon Collective to understanding
music theory from a producers
perspective. How to create bass lines, chord progressions and
melodies. This course gives the non-keyboard player the
understanding to play their original ideas on the keyboard.
SYNTHESIS
This course will teach you how
synthesizers create sound, giving you the freedom to create whatever
textures you hear in your head.

21ST CENTURY MUSIC BUSINESS
This class covers trademarks,
publishing societies, protecting your music through copyrights, artist/producer contracts, licensing and multiple other topics you need to know to become a successful 21st century music producer and artist.
RECORDING TECHNIQUES
A study of analog and digital recording terminology and equipment. You will learn: Microphones and Mic Placement for vocals and acoustic instruments, Signal flow, Hardware based EFX’s, EFX Routing, Compression, EQ’s, Mixing, Mastering, and much more.
ABLETON LIVE
An in-depth approach on how to use Ableton Live for the production, and real-time manipulation of your arrangements, for stage, show performances. This class prepares for your transition from studio to stage.
MUSIC MARKETING FOR
ARTISTS AND PRODUCERS
Now that your records complete, how will people hear about it? This course will guide you in creating and implementing your marketing campaign for the launch of your release using cutting edge, cost effective techniques.
WORK FOR HIRE
Music production from a “for-hire” basis. Learn insights on how to write for video games, movie
trailers, and commercials as well as learn the business side of fees, residuals and rates.

STUDIO MENTOR
Weekly studio time with a veteran producer to guide you in the
production of your music. This is an open session where your needs are addressed. From arrangements, programming, mixing to lyrics, your studio time is a valuable resource for completing your projects.
LAB TIME
Time set aside for you to observe and participate in real world music production sessions. Our studios /classrooms hosts sessions that have included remixes for U2, Annie Lennox, Gwen Stefanni and production of major albums.
