qualifications for admission

Icon Collective's main requirement is that you have a strong passion for producing music and a desire to live a creative lifestyle. Each applicant will be interviewed to evaluate his or her goals. We seek self-motivated, responsible, creative individuals with the drive to complete our programs successfully.

Although it is not required that you have a high school diploma, daily assignments will require this level of reading ability, and classroom participation requires conversational English and basic Math skills.

Students must be at least 17 years old at the start of classes. Exceptions are made for students under 17 taking private lessons only.

Fill out the application, include a $75.00 application fee and $500 deposit. Mail all documents to the address below or contact our Admissions Department at 818.334.3671.

What Happens Next?

After your application has been submitted, an Icon Representative will contact you to set up a tour and an interview. Upon acceptance into the program, your $500 deposit will be used to reserve your space for your start date. Space is limited and spots are given on a first-come, first-serve basis. All deposits are fully refundable and go towards your first quarter's tuition.

Tuition does NOT include required laptop and software.
